For many, the old name Baer Field would bring to mind images of biplanes and windsocks. As a result, the airport's new identity had to reflect its place in modern aviation, which was best represented with a regional jet.

The assignment was to remind those from the Fort Wayne area using the Indy airport about the convenience of flying out locally. We wanted to remind fliers what they might be giving up besides five hours in the car.
