Fort Wayne, Ind. – Floyd and Partner Public Affairs congratulates Christopher Mann who was invited by Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman to join a select group of bloggers to preside over the last official day of the Indiana General Assembly's short legislative session. The last day is concluded, "sine die" which is a latin phrase meaning "without day" traditionally used to describe the last day of service for a legislative body.
Mann is a former staff assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives and presently a regular guest blogger with Veritas Rex, a blog produced by the Indiana Family Institute (IFI) headquartered in Indianapolis. IFI is the state affiliate of the Colorado Springs-based Focus on the Family, lead by Dr. James Dobson.
"I want to thank the Lt. Governor for this opportunity once again," Chris Mann said. "Mitch Daniels and Becky Skillman had a huge job this year with property tax reform, and the fact that this was a short session did not help lighten their burden. Hoosiers need property tax relief right away, and hopefully the package that the senate and house approved last Friday will serve that end.
"On another note, many Hoosiers and supporters of the Indiana Family Institute are extremely disappointed that Speaker Pat Bauer declined to honor his 2006 campaign promise to allow the Marriage Amendment to come to the house floor for a vote. Fortunately, voters will have an opportunity to formally express that disappointment come this November."

Floyd & Partners is passionate about developing our partners' brands. Our job is to conceive ideas that communicate the character and personality of those brands. We then craft messages to bring those ideas together into a comprehensive communications program that may include: brand analysis, market research, advertising, design, collateral, public relations, media, sales training, the Internet or just about anything else we can dream up. Putting all these together into a coherent whole is what we call Brand Locomotion.
